    ticked off

well, I just spent several hours typing in a hell of a story but as usual, even though I was logged in, went I went to preview and then submit my post, I get this garbage that I'm not logged in. I don't understand what the F I'm doing wrong. How can I be logged in and everything looks hunky dory OK, and then when I try to submit, I get this box that jumps up telling me blah, blah, "not logged in." Wow, life truly does suck sometimes.

Anyway, it was a great fight story using the catfight artwork at cat fight story, 100% real female catfights, lesbians as the basis. So even though the Hostboard website refuses to allow me to post anything longer than a friggin short-assed paragraph before it logs me out - check out the site.

I truly do envy the other people here that get to post their work.

It ber happened to me in this board, but it has happened several times in two other boards I am a member of. I wonder if the problem is with the boards themselves that have installed some tool to unlog people after a certain ammount of time without ?movement? between us and the site, as when we're just typing, or reading something, without changing to a diffrent page.

Or else, it is some Microsoft ?security? device, or a bug that bypasses your antivirus and mine... I leave this suggestion for those with more computer knowledge than I.

    Exclamation Re: ticked off

I can confirm THIS IS NOT A BUG IT IS A FEATURE

The same principal as Bank Logons at work, you log on, walk away turn your back, then someone else can play on your logon - So there is an automatic disconnect by thr logon manager. It's often 10 minutes.

If you are typing your story in input window (poor idea) and navigate away from that page - and then come back - you may loose the data if that page wasn't cached in your browser.

So - always type stories in a text processor, (plain text is best), then cut and past into the space in the web page.

This way you don't lose the end of your story to THE DREAD TEXT LIMIT feature.:coffeedrinker:
